Family relationships are central, and struggles in this area can be deeply painful. The diverse families described in the Qur'an offer insight into ways to support resilience and health. This course was developed for an audience of mental health professionals, imams, chaplains, and graduate students in these fields.

This Clinician's Guide for the Ramadan Intentions Workbook provides clinicians context for some of the exercises in the Workbook, including references from Islamic religious texts. It is especially helpful for clinicians who are not used to helping Muslim clients set goals for Ramadan, or who may need additional context about Ramadan.

Imam Magid explores contentment through an Islamic lens to help mental health practitioners, clergy members, and chaplains facilitate their clients' paths towards contentment.
