The search for contentment is a core human enterprise. Course material examines this search from an Islamic lens, citing verses of the Qur'an and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad to help mental health practitioners, clergy members, and chaplains facilitate their clients' paths towards contentment. The class begins with a conceptual definition and then applies the concepts in situations relevant to practitioners (e.g. grief, tragedy, etc.).
