A Story of Faith, Dignity, and Advocacy: Exploring how Muslims have been impacted by and are impacting the U.S. Justice System

(Overview Course) The correctional system in the U.S. impacts those who are currently and formerly incarcerated, their families and their communities. This seminar provides a history of the modern carceral system, focusing on Muslims impacted by and intervening in the carceral system. It will take a strengths-based & antiracist approach, focusing on facilitating human potential among those impacted by incarceration.
